You Have NO IDEA What F1 Gloves Can Do 🤯 #f1 #formula1 #redbull #astonmartin

There’s a reason F1 is considered the pinnacle of motorsport engineering.

When the FIA introduced biometric gloves in 2018, the sensors were just 3mm thick, yet capable of monitoring a driver’s heart rate and blood oxygen levels. The information could help medical teams assess a driver before even reaching them after an accident.

What fascinates me is that innovation in F1 isn’t just about making cars faster. It’s about finding ways to make an inherently dangerous sport safer, right down to the equipment drivers wear.

And that constant pursuit of improvement is what makes this sport so fascinating.

Also, a huge shoutout to the @halloffamecollection9640 for making this possible!

The gloves I’m holding are Fernando Alonso’s race-used Aston Martin gloves from 2023 and Max Verstappen’s gloves from his 2024 World Championship season.

And the wild part? They’re actually available to buy.

If you’re into genuine F1 memorabilia, definitely check them out. Some extraordinary pieces in there!
