The Strokes Join SNL Five-Timers Club With Dazzling Visuals and Walton Goggins

The Strokes joined Saturday Night Live’s Five-Timers Club this weekend with a pair of performances featuring dazzling visuals, a show of support for Palestine, and an unexpected cameo from Walton Goggins.
Supporting their latest album, Reality Awaits, the New York alt-rockers performed “Lonely in the Future” and “Going Shopping.” Both performances featured trippy green screen-assisted visuals, elaborate lighting, and a Palestinian flag displayed on the drumhead of Fabrizio Moretti’s kit. For “Going Shopping,” Goggins joined the band on bongos, recreating his appearance in the song’s music video.
