IND-W vs ZIM-W T20I Series: Broadcast, Live Streaming – When and where to watch in India, USA, Zimbabwe & other countries

India Women and Zimbabwe Women are set to face each other in a three-match T20I series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. The opening match will take place on October 16, followed by the second T20I on October 18 and the third on October 20. All three matches will begin at 7:00 PM IST.

The series marks the first-ever bilateral international meeting between the two nations and begins an important new chapter for the Indian women’s team. Smriti Mandhana will lead India as the full-time white-ball captain, with Shafali Verma serving as vice-captain. The T20I series will be followed by three ODIs in Vadodara from October 23 to 28, with the ODI leg forming part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–29.

Smriti Mandhana takes charge as India begin a new chapter

India enter the series after defending their women’s cricket gold medal at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. The team will now look to build on that success under Mandhana’s leadership as they prepare for their first bilateral T20I assignment against Zimbabwe. Experienced players Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma remain important members of the squad.

India also have several spin options, including Deepti, Minnu Mani, Prema Rawat and Sree Charani, giving the hosts multiple choices in the middle overs. Wicketkeeping duties could be shared between Richa Ghosh and the uncapped Gunalan Kamalini. The series will provide India with an opportunity to assess their combinations while giving players a chance to establish themselves under the new leadership.

Zimbabwe look to challenge India in historic series

Zimbabwe Women will be led by Josephine Nkomo and have retained their squad for the tour. The visitors will aim to make the most of this landmark series and test themselves against one of the leading teams in women’s international cricket. Opening batter Kelis Ndhlovu will be one of Zimbabwe’s key players to watch. She has been the team’s leading T20I run-scorer in the 2026 calendar year and has also produced important performances against stronger opposition, including a fighting 63 against the West Indies.

Beloved Biza is another player who could make an impact with her aggressive approach. Zimbabwe will need contributions from their experienced players as well as their younger members to compete against India’s varied bowling attack. The three matches in Raipur will give the visitors an opportunity to gain valuable experience before the ODI series in Vadodara.
