Buckcherry’s Tour Bus Involved in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident
A multi-vehicle accident involving Buckcherry’s tour bus resulted in one fatality, though members of the band and its touring crew are said to be “safe and unharmed.”
The crash occurred early Friday morning on I-26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. According to authorities (via WYFF), a pedestrian involved in an earlier collision was struck after exiting their vehicle, resulting in a chain-reaction involving multiple vehicles
“At approximately 2:00 AM Friday morning, Buckcherry’s tour bus was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on I-26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina,” the band said in a statement. “Tragically, authorities have confirmed that the collision that occurred ahead of our bus resulted in a fatality,” the statement continued. “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the family and loved ones of the person who lost their life.”
Buckcherry’s tour is expected to continue as scheduled.
