Here’s the social media reaction amid reports of arrests and fans ordered to leave after clashes before the Crystal Palace v Rayo Vallecano final…

@GG15476: Leipzig fans trying to attack us at the Irish bar 😂😂 ended well

@eaglesson7: Group of youths in black dress attack rn masse Palace #cpfc fans at Dhillons irish bar. Police very quick to intervene to disperese organised violence. They ran away quickly. Chairs and glasses thrown in retaliation. Unnecessary. Spoilt a joyful evening. 20 or so of the same came from opposite direction and were soon dealt with by police and Palace fans

@Hw9Cpfc: #cpfc German police excellent and quick sorting a bit of bother

@MattWatts96: It’s a shame, but there’s always a few idiots who have to cause a scene. On the whole, there’s been a fantastic atmosphere in Leipzig today. Both sets of fans have been interacting quite happily. 🤷‍♂️ #UECL #CPFC

@CPalace43: Not that violence is right, but this is the pub where all the ‘defend Europe’ flags were. Again, to reiterate – it’s not right that Rayo attacked at all, but those flags should never be welcome at Palace either. #cpfc

@jerry_CPFC: Met loads of Rayo fans who have been class tonight. Shame some of there fans kicked off at one pub. No trouble from anywhere else #CPFC

@TNZlRcFyulc0bzd: General vibe is fine between palace and Rayo fans btw
