Once upon a time, back in 2023, Carlos Sainz was the ONLY non-Red Bull race winner. Yeah that’s all I’ve got. Like what a fall from grace. Sure, he’s established himself as a skilled driver over the years, and I’d argue most F1 fans rate the bloke. That said, whether it’s on or off the track, in 2026 that reputation is hanging on for dear life.
So, I figured I’d take a deep dive into his 2026 championship campaign (if you can even call it that), and work out what went wrong, and of course, what’s next…
