Glasgow Rangers have left themselves with plenty of work to do at Ibrox next week after they were beaten by Jagiellonia Białystok on Thursday night.
The Light Blues lost 2-1 in the first leg of their Europa League qualifying clash with the Polish side, and will have to turn the tie around in front of their own fans next week.
Derek McInnes’ side only recorded three shots on target and needed an own goal from Guilherme Montoia to score in the match, whilst the hosts had seven shots on target and looked like a much bigger threat in the final third.
One of the more disappointing performers on the night was attacking midfielder Thelo Aasgaard, who failed to build on his performance against Dundee United.
Why Thelo Aasgaard is so frustrating for Rangers
The Norway international is a frustrating player for the Light Blues because the talent is clearly there, as evidenced by his impressive goal in the opening Scottish Premiership match, but he has yet to add consistency to his performances.
He has the potential to produce moments of magic, like the one against Dundee United, and showed that at times last term with a return of seven goals in the Premiership.
However, the former Luton Town attacker failed to reach double figures for goals or assists in all competitions for the Light Blues, which speaks to his lack of consistency in the final third.

That is why Aasgaard is a frustrating player for supporters, because he has the talent to be an exceptional performer for the Gers, but that will only become reality if he is consistent.
The task at hand for McInnes is to work with the English-born playmaker on the training pitch in an attempt to help him to take the next step in his career at Ibrox.
Rangers in talks to sign bigger talent than Thelo Aasgaard
Whilst Aasgaard is still searching for consistency in his game, the Scottish giants are looking at a player who could arrive at Ibrox as an instant upgrade on him.
Sky Sports journalist Luca Bendoni reveals that Glasgow Rangers are making progress in their pursuit of a deal to sign PSV winger Couhaib Driouech in the summer transfer window.
The reporter claims that the Light Blues are in ongoing talks with the Dutch side to sign the forward, after submitting an offer worth around £6.4m for the left winger.
Bendoni then provided an update that the offer has been rejected by the Eredivisie team, but the Gers are still in talks to sign the forward and are competing with Celta Vigo for his signature.

Driouech is a versatile attacking player who can play in a variety of positions across the frontline. Whilst his preferred role is on the left flank, he can play on the right, cutting in on his left, or as an attacking midfielder.
The 24-year-old star would arrive at Ibrox as a player who is a class above Aasgaard at the top end of the pitch in the three attacking positions behind the striker, based on his form for PSV last term.
He racked up nine goals and eight assists in all competitions for the Dutch side, scoring two more goals and providing three more assists than Aasgaard did for the Gers.
His form in the Champions League, in particular, caught the eye. Driouech scored three goals, created two ‘big chances’, and supplied two assists in seven appearances in the competition.
Meanwhile, Aasgaard scored no goals, created one ‘big chance’, and provided one assist in eight appearances in the Europa League for Rangers in the 2025/26 campaign.
These statistics suggest that Driouech would have far more to offer to the Light Blues in front of goal than Aasgaard, both generally and in European competitions, which is why he could be such an exciting addition to the squad.
The left-footed star looks to be a class above the Norway international, given his superior form whilst playing for a big club at PSV, and it is now down to the club to get a deal over the line so that McInnes has more quality at his disposal this season.
