Weezer are hitting the road this fall on “Weezer: The Gathering,” a 32-date North American arena tour with The Shins and Silversun Pickups along for support. The trek lands right alongside the release of the band’s 16th studio album, the self-titled Weezer (aka The Gold Album) — their rawest, most collaborative record in years, built around all four members writing together in the same room for the first time since their 1994 debut.
The tour kicks off September 8th in Sacramento and works its way through San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, New York, Nashville, Austin, and more before wrapping in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles on October 24th. A second leg follows in early 2027, taking the band through Japan, Ireland, the UK, and continental Europe with Taking Back Sunday in support.

Phoenix is the cheapest date on the run at $50, with Houston, Sunrise, Orlando, and the Sacramento opener all hovering right around $51. On the other end, Toronto is currently the priciest stop, with entry-level seats starting near $180, followed by Los Angeles and Boston in the $140s.

What Is “Weezer: The Gathering”?
Named with a nod to fans “summoning” from all corners of the world, “Weezer: The Gathering” arrives as the band’s first proper North American tour since 2024’s “Voyage to the Blue Planet,” which celebrated the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut, The Blue Album. This time out, the focus is squarely on new music: Weezer (The Gold Album) marks the band’s 16th studio LP, recorded with all four members — Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner — writing and tracking together in the same room, a first since their 1994 debut.
The band previewed the album throughout the summer with singles “Shine Again,” “We Might As Well Be Strangers” (featuring Wednesday’s Karly Hartzman), and “C.E.O.,” and made the rounds on late night ahead of the album’s release, including a gold-painted appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where Silversun Pickups bassist Nikki Monninger filled in on vocals for Hartzman. Cuomo also used the Fallon appearance to explain the tour’s name, joking that the band is “summoning all the different kinds of Weezer fans from around the world to come rock out with us.”
The North American leg runs through most of September and October with The Shins and Silversun Pickups opening every date. From there, the tour heads overseas in February and May 2027 for shows across Japan, Ireland, the UK, and Europe, with Taking Back Sunday joining as support on the international dates.
