On lap 56, Verstappen cut the chicane at Turn 6, prompting Norris to tell McLaren over team radio that Max had gained time and that the F1 stewards should investigate the incident.
โ๏ธ The Formula 1 stewards quickly decided that Verstappenโs Turn 6 chicane cut did not warrant a penalty, meaning Max Verstappen kept P2 ahead of Lando Norris in P3. But after the Spanish GP, a hilarious moment between the two F1 rivals unfolded in the cooldown room.
๐ While Verstappen and Norris were watching the race highlights, Max noticed that Norris had also cut the Turn 6 chicane just two laps earlier on lap 54! Verstappen immediately turned and stared at Norris as if to say, โBut you did the same thing!โ Norris noticed Maxโs reaction and couldnโt help but smile.
