Singapore Grand Prix, LIVE watchalong. We watch the race together, react together and break down every strategy call. Start: 5:30 PM IST (8:00 PM Singapore time).
The key storylines for the race:
Max Verstappen is on pole, his first ever in Singapore, by 0.054s over Charles Leclerc. He has also won the Sprint. Singapore is one of the few circuits where he has never won a Grand Prix. Can he finally change that?
Ferrari start 2nd and 3rd with Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, and both were on the Sprint podium. They are the biggest threat to Verstappen, and Ferrari won here in 2023.
George Russell qualified 6th but starts from the back because of a power unit penalty. Overtaking at Marina Bay is very hard, so watch how far Mercedes can push him with strategy and Safety Cars. The lowest winning grid position here is 15th.
Kimi Antonelli starts 4th, and his championship lead is 89 points after the Sprint. He cannot clinch the title in Singapore, but a big result here brings it closer.
Lando Norris starts 5th and Oscar Piastri 7th after their last-lap collision in the Sprint. McLaren will be watching closely.
Thunderstorms were forecast for Sunday, and the Sprint was rain-affected. Weather could decide tyres, Safety Cars and the strategy.
