Meghan Markle’s New Acting Opportunity Revealed – Details On The TV Show She’ll Be In!

On Friday, news dropped that Meghan Markle had landed an exciting new acting role — her first since leaving Suits in 2017.
Along with her other big news that she and husband Prince Harry are officially moving back to the UK, it’s safe to say the As Ever lifestyle tastemaker is having quite the week!
But aside from all the questions surrounding their return to Harry’s home, the other big wonder fans now had was… what could this major new opportunity be??
Well now we know!
The Hollywood Reporter says Meghan’s character in Netflix‘s The Gentlemen “is currently being written”! The action-comedy series, created by director Guy Ritchie (you know, Madonna‘s ex-husband) as a spin-off project to his 2019 film of the same name, is set to premiere its second season on September 3.

A third season announcement will likely follow shortly after, and it would be in season 3 when audiences get a chance to catch the USA TV alum. The outlet also notes it’s not yet for certain how many episodes she’ll bag as discussions are still new.
The Gentlemen stars White Lotus vet Theo James and is described by Netflix as the story of “Aristocratic Eddie” as “he transitions from duke to drug baron when he inherits a weed empire — and partners with a criminal dynasty that has its own agenda.” Hey, Meghan does know a thing or two about aristocracy!
