🏎️ At the 2023 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz found themselves battling fiercely for the final podium position. With just a few laps remaining, the two Ferrari teammates went wheel-to-wheel in an intense fight for P3, with Leclerc repeatedly trying to find a way past Sainz.
🔴 Ferrari allowed Leclerc and Sainz to race, but the team repeatedly told both drivers to take “no risks.” As the laps ticked down, Leclerc became increasingly desperate to overtake his Ferrari teammate, leading to some incredibly aggressive racing between the two Ferrari drivers.
😱 On the final lap of the Italian Grand Prix, Leclerc made one last desperate attempt into Turn 1. He locked up both front tyres and came dangerously close to the back of Sainz, narrowly avoiding contact. A dramatic ending to one of the most intense Ferrari teammate battles of the 2023 F1 season.
