Better Man

Little Big Town‘s hit Better Man was actually written by Tay Tay!

Member Kimberly Schlapman told Taste of Country in 2016 that the Lover artist was actually the one to approach them with the tune:

“She sent us the song … We were like, ‘Wow! Taylor sent us a song. She’s one of the best songwriters ever.’”

According to Kimberly, Taylor thought the song would be great for the group because of their four-part harmonies.

Interestingly, Taylor actually recorded a version for herself, which appeared on Red (Taylor’s Version). Hear it:

You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home

A Hannah Montana classic came from Taylor! While she appeared in the film to make a cameo singing her son Crazier, Travis Kelce‘s wife is also credited for writing You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home for Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009.

While speaking to Variety about the tune in 2026, Miley shared:

“Taylor had pitched that song along with a lot of other writers and songs, and we were just kind of curating the thing that would most, kind of, bring the story of the film to life. We wanted a really big song for the finale of that. It needed to feel celebratory because, obviously, Miley had just told the biggest secret, so we needed something that felt like the kind of balloon, like, drops all the way down — you get grounded, you get still — but it needs to go all the way back up. So, I love that song.”

Best Days Of Your Life

Taylor and Kellie Pickler co-wrote the latter’s hit Best Days of Your Life. Taylor even stars in the music video! Kellie told The Boot in 2015:

“Taylor Swift and I actually wrote this song together while we were on tour with Brad Paisley. I had went through a really bad breakup a while back, so we wrote the song about the relationship that went sour.”

This Is What You Came For

Taylor tried to keep this collab very secret! She’s behind Calvin Harris and Rihanna‘s song This Is What You Came For, which they wrote while dating in 2016. For a while, nobody knew for sure whether Taylor had contributed to the song, with TMZ sources claiming the couple worried the reveal would “overshadow” the project. Eventually, a rep for the songstress did confirm she wrote under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.

Beautiful Ghosts

When Taylor starred in the 2019 adaptation of Cats, the Grammy winner wrote the original song Beautiful Ghosts with Andrew Lloyd Webber. Francesca Hayward performed the song in the movie, but Taylor did record a studio version of it.

She’s really such a prolific writer!
