Barcelona convinced bit-part Tottenham player could star for Flick
Tottenham could face some awkward conversations in 2027, with Pedro Porro, Destiny Udogie and Richarlison all featuring in exit reports.
Porro has reportedly attracted attention from Barcelona and Real Madrid, and the defender would listen seriously if either Spanish giant offered him a route back to his homeland.
The same report claims Porro has doubts about whether Spurs can satisfy his ambitions, so his summer contract renewal has done little to stop questions being asked about his future.
Udogie’s situation is different.
Fitness problems have interrupted his progress, while Andy Robertson provides competition at left back, and any potential buyer would need to offer enough to change Spurs’ current plans.
Richarlison, meanwhile, looks the most obvious candidate for a January move after being pushed out of Roberto De Zerbi‘s plans.

Folha has reported interest from Turkish clubs, including Galatasaray and Trabzonspor, and detailed how proposed moves to Everton and Vasco failed to materialise.
The Brazilian remains in north London with his future unresolved, and there could also be a knock-on effect for recruitment.
For Spurs, the challenge is deciding which exits would improve the squad and which would leave a hole that is much harder to fill. They have invested heavily in De Zerbi’s rebuild, keeping talented players involved and committed remains part of making that work.
Lucas Bergvall now presents another situation to watch, with Barcelona reportedly looking beyond his current difficulties in securing regular starts.
Barcelona eye Lucas Bergvall as future star with Tottenham keen to keep him
TEAMtalk reports that the Catalan club believe the Swede could become a key part of their midfield over the coming years, and their interest centres on his sky-high potential.
Barcelona are said to admire his ability to handle different midfield roles, alongside the technical and physical qualities he could bring. They already have Pedri, Gavi and Marc Bernal, but Bergvall is viewed as someone capable of establishing himself alongside their younger core.
Barcelona know the player well, having tried to sign him before Tottenham won the race for his signature in 2024.
Spurs have since strengthened their position, though.
The club announced fresh terms for Bergvall in September, with his new deal running till 2032 after summer interest from Nottingham Forest failed to materialise.
Regular football remains a key talking point.
Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes have added stiff competition since arriving in the summer, making De Zerbi’s midfield harder to break into.
Napoli are also watching, while TEAMtalk says Juventus would like a January loan, but Tottenham currently have little appetite for allowing Bergvall to leave, including temporarily.
