Liam Lawson will be driving for Red Bull at the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend because Isack Hadjar is unable to race after suffering a wrist injury. Red Bull have therefore brought Lawson up from Racing Bulls to fill in for him, while Yuki Tsunoda will take Lawson’s usual seat at Racing Bulls.
It’s only expected to be a temporary change, with Hadjar returning once he has recovered. There’s also a bit of history behind Lawson racing at Zandvoort, as he made his Formula 1 debut there in 2023 when he replaced the injured Daniel Ricciardo. This time, he’ll be returning to the same circuit in a Red Bull.
