Max Verstappen NASCAR debut conversations are already happening — and a Cup team owner just confirmed it publicly. Justin Marks went on Kevin Harvick’s podcast and said through the Red Bull ecosystem, talks have taken place. He wouldn’t rule it out for the future.
The obstacle isn’t the oval fear. It isn’t the car. It’s Ford. Red Bull’s F1 partnership with Ford creates a direct manufacturer conflict with Trackhouse’s Chevrolet program. Until that changes, the Project 91 pathway is blocked.
But Verstappen was literally screaming at his screen when SVG won Chicago in 2023. He was spotted watching Talladega this season. The curiosity is real. The conversation is happening. And Kyle Larson already said he’s a better all-around driver than the four-time world champion.
