Nasri: India's got talent

Arsenal's Samir Nasri feels that India has got plenty of football talent and it is just a matter of time that a big player comes from the country.

Nasri, who plays in the mid-field, also said that he would love to play alongside an Indian at Arsenal.

"India has got tremendous talent and I would love to play along with an Indian for Arsenal. An Indian playing in the English Premier League will be great for the development of football in India," said Nasri.

According to Nasri, people want to see players from countries like India and China.

"People love watching Asian players and they want to see them do well on the international circuit. Countries like Japan and South Korea have become Asian giants. Still, people want to see players coming from India and China," said Nasri, who is the top-scorer for Arsenal in the current season with eight goals.

He also negated the possibility that players from Asian countries are being ignored because of their small structure and built in comparison with Europeans and Africans.

Nasri said: "According to me it is a stupid argument. Player's height and body is secondary what matters the most is his ability to fight and skills. If height or body would have been an issue then players like Lionel (Messi), Xavi (Hernandez) and many others would have not made it big."
