Gwyneth Paltrow: My beauty secret is having sex

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed her top tips for looking good – laughing and having sex.

The Oscar-winning actress announced her “conscious uncoupling” from husband Chris Martin last year and has since begun dating Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk.

Gwyneth told Women’s Health magazine in the US: “I’m not really a ‘beauty person’. I believe, as cheesy as it sounds, in exercise, laughing, having sex, being yourself.

“I’m not like, ‘Then I use this masque that I make on my stove’.”

The 42-year-old mother-of-two showed off her toned figure in the mag and revealed she feels more comfortable in a bikini now than she did when she was in her 20s.

Gwyenth said: “I feel way more comfortable in a bathing suit now than I did 20 years ago.

The Goop creator also revealed a little about her diet and exercise regime, insisting she is not as strict about food as her reputation would have people believe.

Gwynnie said: “My routine is the same every weekday. I drop my kids at school. I do an hour of dance cardio and then I go to work.”

The food writer revealed she starts every day with a cup of coffee with half-and-half, adding, “me with no coffee is not a good look”.

Gwyneth said she follows her morning work out with a “smoothie” and revealed: “For lunch I usually have a big salad with grilled chicken, and then for dinner I’ll have whatever I want. Most nights I eat with the kids, like, a stir-fry of chicken and broccoli or pasta or roast chicken and potatoes.”

And she doesn’t stop her children, Apple, 11, and Moses, nine, from having sweet treats either.

“My food philosophy is: Nothing should be ruled out,” she said. “I don’t believe in saying, ‘You’re not allowed that.’ If my kids want a Shirley Temple with the radioactive cherry in it, go for it, you know?”

She added: “The other day I was flying and the turbulence was so bad, I was like, ‘F*** this.’ I had a Bloody Mary in the middle of the day.”
